About The Role
The Engineering Coordinator supports engineering teams by coordinating projects, schedules, documentation, and communication across departments. This role ensures engineering activities run efficiently, on time, and in alignment with project goals, serving as a key link between engineering, operations, procurement, and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate engineering projects, schedules, and deliverables.
- Track project progress and provide status updates to management.
- Identify risks, delays, or resource gaps and escalate as needed.
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and purchase order coordination.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, reports).
- Assist with change management, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
- Ensure documentation aligns with internal standards and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate project records and version control.
- Schedule meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, procurement, and external partners.
- Support coordination with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements across engineering activities.
What You'll Bring
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering, technical, or project coordination role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with engineering or project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, utilities, or infrastructure environments.
