Engineer III - TL
About the role
Supporting the Special Communication Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division at NAWCAD WOLF.
Responsibilities
- Leading tasks applying C5ISR engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to plan, design, develop, test, and supervise production and fabrication.
- Reviewing obsolete drawings, equipment, parts, or components for reverse engineering to validate data and produce replicas or modernizations.
- Evaluating performance and reliability of prototypes or first articles tests, and recommending changes.
- Developing, preparing, applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures and making recommendations for design alternatives.
- Planning and performing verifications and analysis, compiling, analyzing, and reporting test data results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or computer sciences.
- At least three years of experience, two of which must be specifically related to air platforms or ground mobile communications.
Desired Skills
- Experience providing engineering services to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF).
- Electrical engineering degree preferred.

Pay
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $96,600.00/Yr. - USD $160,850.00/Yr.
Schedule
Less than 10 business days per calendar year.
