Engineer III
About the role
The Engineer III is responsible for delivering end-to-end system development and maintenance for complex technology systems within assigned client groups, business units, or corporate departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop medium to large complex customer technology platforms and architectures.
- Collaborate with engineers and graphic designers to analyze change requests and evaluate enhancements.
- Develop and perform system testing, resolve defects, and validate results.
- Aid in integration activities with other IT departments.
- Code and maintain complex information system components.
- Mentor team members on coding standards and perform code reviews.
- Build, test, and validate statistical and machine learning models.
- Contribute to business operations by performing basic analyses, preparing data and documenting results.
- Work with others to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications.
- Maintain active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop business requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.
- Three (3) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related experience.
Experience Requirements
- Three (3) years of required Information Technology (IT) or related experience must include:
- Large Language Models (LLM)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Extracting and analyzing metadata and clinical data from medical charts or notes
- Machine Learning (ML) model development
- Tableau
- Python
- SASS
- Snowflake
- AWS
- Data engineering tools and technologies including PySpark, Hadoop, Impala, and Kubeflow
- Healthcare insurance industry experience
