Energy/Project Finance Associate (Junior-Level)
About the role
The Winston’s Renewable Energy Project Finance group seeks junior associates with at least 2+ years of experience to join its market-leading practice. These associates will have the opportunity to work on renewable energy projects involving wind, solar power, and storage, including complex transactions such as construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage financings.
Responsibilities
- Draft exhibits and financial/corporate documents
- Be exposed to project documents and related diligence related to the construction and operation of the projects
Requirements
General corporate experience is required. Candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.
Qualifications
The Renewable Energy Project Finance group represents lenders in renewable energy financings across the United States. Clients include nearly all the high-profile players in this growing and emerging space. The team has advised on transactions that have recently been recognized as "deals of the year" across multiple categories by industry organizations such as IJGlobal and Proximo. Additionally, the practice and several of its practitioners are routinely recognized as market leaders by Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Power Finance & Risk, and U.S. News & World Report's "Best Law Firms."
