Project Finance Associate (Junior-Level)

About the role

The Winston’s Renewable Energy Project Finance group seeks junior associates with at least 2+ years of experience to join its market-leading practice. These associates will specialize in project document diligence, particularly for renewable energy projects involving wind, solar power, and storage, including complex transactions such as construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project document diligence team with respect to construction contracts, equipment supply contracts, and offtake agreements.
• Conduct and assist with the review of related diligence concerning the construction and operation of the projects.

Requirements

• Admitted to the state bar of their preferred location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in reviewing construction contracts or equipment supply contracts is helpful.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
