Energy/Project Finance Associate (Junior-Level)

About the role

The Renewable Energy Project Finance group at the client is seeking junior associates with 2+ years of experience to join its market-leading practice. These roles involve working on renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and storage, with a focus on complex transactions such as construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage finance.

Responsibilities

• Draft exhibits and financial/corporate documents
• Be exposed to project documents and related diligence related to the construction and operation of the projects

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in general corporate experience
• Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and analysis
• Experience with project finance and renewable energy
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
