Energy/Project Finance Associate

About the role

A leading law firm with a nationally recognized renewable energy finance practice is seeking junior associates (2-3 years) to join its market-leading team in either Los Angeles or New York.

Responsibilities

• Support diligence efforts related to project development and financing
• Review and analyze construction contracts, equipment supply agreements, and offtake agreements
• Assist with diligence related to the construction and operation of renewable energy projects

Qualifications

• Prior experience with project finance, debt finance, chapter 11, project development, or transactional diligence preferred
• Familiarity with construction or supply agreements is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Admission to the bar in the candidate’s preferred office location (California or New York)
