Enamel Cell Operator (CHRE)

Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI

Pay

$26.55 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential.

Schedule

3rd Shift; 10:54 PM - 7:12 AM, plus overtime. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed.

About the role

Join our manufacturing team in the Enamel Shop at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products and offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our Foundry and Enamel Operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare, and inspect/pack castings for robotic enameling and auto sink line.
• Drive PIV, fill powder feeders, change forks, and program the enameling robots.
• Learn plate numbers and identify colors.
• Fill in and assist coworkers as needed.
• Perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and lifting.
• Pass a vision test to inspect ware.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties including bending, lifting, and pushing weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
• Consistent attendance and work performance.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
