EMT, Paramedic, or LPN (PRN)
Medcor is looking to hire an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN basis (as-needed) to be a Worksite Health Technician in an employer-based, occupational health clinic setting in Hazleton, PA. The clinic operates Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Since this is on an as-needed basis, there are no guaranteed hours.

The position involves collaborative work with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Responsibilities include patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, or MCPs)
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
- Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
- Manage case documentation and medical charting
- Maintain OSHA record-keeping
- Work closely with outside medical providers
Requirements
- Valid licensure for the position (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software)
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, outgoing personality

- Ability to have fun in the workplace
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
- Relevant occupational health experience
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
