About the role
These opportunities are focused on employment litigation, workplace disputes, wage and hour claims, PAGA, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, counseling, and business-facing employment law strategy. Candidates must have employment litigation, counseling, or workplace dispute experience, strong drafting, discovery, motion practice, or counseling skills, be comfortable with client interaction and case responsibility, have relevant state bar admission or eligibility, and be interested in employment law as a practice focus.
Responsibilities
- Senior Litigation Attorney: 5+ years California employer-side employment litigation; FEHA depth; wage-and-hour, class actions, PAGA representative actions; motion practice; depositions of complex witnesses; trial preparation; matter ownership; supervision/mentoring junior associates; at least one jury trial experience as first or second chair.
- Junior Litigation Attorney: 1-4 years California employer-side employment litigation; pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice in CA state/federal courts; discrimination, wage-and-hour, and PAGA matters; independent case ownership; mediation/arbitration preparation; strong written advocacy.
- Senior Counsel - Employment: 5-8 years focused employment law experience; handle employment compliance, agreements, restrictive covenants, workplace investigations, executive compensation, equity plan design/administration, contractor classification, wage/hour, remote workforce compliance, handbooks, HR policies, and startup counseling.
- Labor & Employment Associate (Denver): 3-5 years management-side labor and employment law; employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour; discovery requests/responses; depositions; pleadings and motions; hearings/court/admin agency representation; employer counseling, policies, handbooks, compliance with.

Pay
- Senior Litigation Attorney: $180K-$280K
- Junior Litigation Attorney: $110K-$170K
- Senior Counsel - Employment: $180K-$240K + 15% bonus + equity
- Labor & Employment Associate (Denver): $165K-$190K base; OTE $250K-$380K with uncapped quarterly productivity bonus
