Employment Litigation Attorney

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of California employment litigation matters from intake through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop strategic case recommendations.
  • Handle depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances.
  • Advise clients on employment law matters and litigation risk.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a remote work environment.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and provide exceptional client service.
  • Develop creative and effective litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar admission and good standing.
  • 3-5+ years of California employment litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, technology-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience.
  • Significant monthly bonus opportunities tied to case settlements and performance.
