Employment Litigation Attorney
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of California employment litigation matters from intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic case recommendations.
- Handle depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances.
- Advise clients on employment law matters and litigation risk.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a remote work environment.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and provide exceptional client service.
- Develop creative and effective litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active California Bar admission and good standing.
- 3-5+ years of California employment litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, technology-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience.
