Employment Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

  • Manage employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings
  • Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses
  • Handle written discovery and take or defend depositions
  • Attend mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court appearances
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with attorneys on complex employment matters and case strategy

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license
  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience
  • Experience handling matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related employment claims
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Experience taking and defending depositions preferred
  • Ability to independently manage an active caseload while working collaboratively with a team
