Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist supports a positive workplace culture by addressing employee relations matters while also coordinating programs that enhance employee growth and development. This role serves as a key resource for managers and employees by providing guidance on workplace concerns, facilitating investigations and conflict resolution, and supporting talent development initiatives.

Job Details

  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on workplace issues, policies, and best practices.
  • Conduct or support workplace investigations involving complaints such as harassment, policy violations, or interpersonal conflicts.
  • Document investigations, findings, and recommendations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with employment laws.
  • Partner with managers to address performance concerns and corrective action processes.
  • Create meaningful ways of tracking and organizing reported incidents.
  • Identify trends in employee relations matters and recommend proactive solutions to improve workplace culture and reduce risk of recurrence.
  • Affirm HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines.
  • Affirm internal communications related to HR programs and policies.
  • Affirm HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and development.

Job Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a MUST
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in managing employee relations issues.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, workplace investigations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or learning systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
