Key Responsibilities
- Provide employee and labor relations support to management and staff.
- Respond to employee complaints and workplace concerns.
- C Conduct and document workplace investigations.
- Assist with reviewing, interpreting, and applying personnel policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Advise supervisors and managers on employee relations issues and appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation related to investigations and employee matters.
- Maintain confidential employee records and information.
- Support the Human Resources team with special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in employee relations, labor relations, human resources, investigations, or a related field.
- Knowledge of employment laws, workplace investigations, and employee relations best practices preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Assignment Details
- Temporary full-time assignment.
- Onsite position located in Waukegan, Illinois.
- Intended to provide coverage during an employee medical leave.
- Assignment expected to last several months.
- Immediate availability strongly preferred.
Hourly Wage and Selection Process
The pay for this contracted position is $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience. MGT employee benefits include up to a 5% match for 401(k) retirement plan, a comprehensive medical/health benefits package, and PTO/holiday pay.
