About the role

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP seeks an Associate to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. The position can be located in New York or Washington, DC, or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on health & welfare benefit plans, including medical, disability, life, flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts, and fringe benefit plans.
• Substantial experience in both M&A and counseling contexts.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience specifically related to health & welfare benefit plans.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to work well on a team.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $320,000 - $440,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, work schedule, location and practice area of the selected candidate.

The firm is open to remote or hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate.
