About the role

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its premier Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, working from its New York or Washington, DC office, or, for the right candidate, remotely.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on health & welfare benefit plans, including medical, disability, life, flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts, and fringe benefit plans.
• Substantial experience advising clients in both M&A and counseling contexts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience relating specifically to health & welfare benefit plans.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing skills.
• The ability to work well on a team.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000-$450,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, work schedule, location and practice area of the selected candidate.

Schedule

The position can be worked remotely or from Katten's New York or Washington, DC office.
