Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate Attorney - Junior

About the role

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a junior associate to join its expanding ECVC group in the Los Angeles, San Francisco or Palo Alto offices. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders.

Responsibilities

• Representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions)
• Working closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national level

Requirements

• At least four years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm
• Stellar academic credentials and references
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Quantitative and Excel skills are preferred

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited institution

Pay

$235,000 to $260,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
