About the role
The Emerging Companies + Venture Capital practice at Morrison Foerster is seeking an attorney with 4-6 years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital work. This role involves significant responsibilities in seed and venture capital financings, public offerings, and domestic M&A transactions for startup companies and investors.
Responsibilities
- Work on high-value, high-profile matters in the evolving ECVC landscape
- Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
- Communicate complex matters in oral and written form
- Deliver excellent client service
- Take on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
Requirements
- Significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work
- Experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings
- Experience with venture financings using NVCA documents
- Experience with domestic M&A transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors
- Proactive, with a strong business sense
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward-thinking
- Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and judgement
- Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in

Pay
Average annual salary range: $310,000 to $390,000
