About the role
The Emerging Companies + Venture Capital practice at Morrison Foerster is seeking an attorney with 4-6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work. This role involves working on high-value, high-profile matters and offers opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Delivering strategic, end-to-end counsel from formation through exit in the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems
- Working with high-growth startups and leading investors
- Managing internal and external client and counsel relationships
- Communicating complex matters in oral and written form
- Offering innovative and forward-thinking solutions
- Providing excellent client service
- Engaging with technology, life sciences, and consumer products businesses
Requirements
- Significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work
- Experience with seed and venture capital financings and public offerings
- Experience with NVCA documents in venture financings
- Experience with domestic M&A transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors
- Admission to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligibility to waive in
