Responsibilities

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree, and eligibility for Ohio veterinary licensure
- Proven emergency medicine experience
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership or mentoring role
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for driving positive change and medical excellence
- Comfort leading a team that includes specialists

- Nice-to-haves include advanced leadership training or certification, experience mentoring new grads or early-career veterinarians, and a creative problem-solving mindset

Benefits
Total annual compensation of $175,000–$200,000, which includes base salary plus a leadership stipend, additional production pay on top of base compensation, long-term incentive program, sign-on and relocation bonuses, and access to a national network of peers and specialists through Ethos Veterinary Health. Opportunities to participate in leadership development programs, clinical research, and clinical trials. Support from Ethos’ national medical team, including ongoing mentorship and collaboration. Pay
Total annual compensation of $175,000–$200,000, which includes base salary plus a leadership stipend, additional production pay on top of base compensation, long-term incentive program, sign-on and relocation bonuses, and access to a national network of peers and specialists through Ethos Veterinary Health. Schedule
The Medical Director will split their time between clinical work and leadership, maintaining their hands-on emergency skills while mentoring and guiding their team.
