ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC
About the role
You will serve as a Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Public Works Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze indications and readings for individual systems or subsystems to determine integrated system operational condition and isolate faults.
- Set up and operate electronic test equipment.
- Solve difficult testing problems by applying a broad range of electronic principles, analyzing malfunctions, and devising repair procedures.
- Perform operational checks, calibration, and final testing of electronic instruments and equipment.

The ability to do the work of Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic without more than normal supervision performing duties such as 1) Monitoring and analyzing indications and readings for individual systems or subsystems to determine integrated system operational condition and isolate faults; 2) Setting up and operating electronic test equipment; 3) Solving difficult testing problems that arise by applying a broad range of electronic principles, analyzing malfunctions, and devising repair procedures; AND 4) Performing operational checks, calibration, and final testing of electronic instruments and equipment.
