Electronic Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair all types of simple to complex industrial electronic equipment, machinery and instrumentation.
• Install, repair and maintain instrumentation in the heat-treating area.
• Utilize electronic testing equipment, schematic prints, wiring diagrams, handbooks, formulae, blueprints and charts to locate and repair malfunctions or install components.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of apprenticeship as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician
• An associate degree, certificate program or trade school program in industrial electronics
• Two years’ experience as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician
• Four years’ experience as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician
