About the Position
Incumbent works in the Directorate of Public Works and maintains, repairs, and operates building automation systems (BAS).
Qualifications
- US Citizens only.
- Ability to perform common maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electronics dealing with electrical, mechanical, heating and/or air conditioning equipment.
- Work assignments require moderate physical effort. Frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise handles items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds).
- Subject to injuries, such as electric shock, cuts and bruises, as well as burns caused by electrical energy or soldering irons.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a recognized certification as a Building Commissioning Professional within 2 years (i.e. Siemens BACnet, Master Operator, APPOGEE Programming, Monaco Fire Alarms and Arc Flash certification).
- Required to possess or obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
- Required to obtain and maintain certification or education in Automation and Instrumentation Equipment Repair and Calibrating.
