Educational Technologist

Role Overview

The Educational Technologist supports the operation and administration of learning management systems, collaborates with technical support teams to refine troubleshooting strategies, and assists course developers and instructional staff with the technical aspects of building and delivering online or blended courses. Additionally, the Technologist will work in conjunction with Tier 1 support personnel and management to refine Tier 1 support strategies.

• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
• Ability to safeguard and maintain electronic files

Specific Skillset

• Develop instructional materials
• Configuring course structures
• Coordination of systems updates and issue resolution
• Support electronic delivery of assessments
• Research emerging tools and features

Requirements

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education

Experience Requirements: 3-10 years of instructional design experience

Experience with Moodle and LMS Operations

Pay

$70,000-$85,000
