Engineering Technician

About the role

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineering Technician to join their innovative team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be a vital part of the Support and Validation Department, working closely with the Autonomous Software Development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities

• Support and track configurations of test platforms to ensure consistency and reliability
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware to maintain operational efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Build and repair harnesses based on electrical diagrams for testing purposes
• Assemble, install, and configure computers and vehicle system components into server racks

Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive CAN bus networks and electrical schematics
• Experience using Linux and running scripts for system management
• Proficiency with Google Suite, JIRA, and Confluence for documentation and collaboration
• Ability to use digital multimeters and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting
• Experience building and troubleshooting computers and networking infrastructure

Pay

$38-46/hr.
