ED Tech - Full-time Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain vital signs and perform 12-lead EKGs
• Perform bedside blood sugar tests
• Provide superficial wound care
• Administer oral suctioning
• Apply splints
• Transport patients safely
• Operate cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, and specialty equipment
• Ensure patient safety and proper stock of supplies
• Assist with aseptic procedures
• Manage telesitter carts
• Conduct environmental safety checks
• Monitor patients in restraint or seclusion
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Demonstrate teamwork and initiative

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma
• BLS or equivalent certification (required upon hire)
• Experience in patient care
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and vital sign procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate initiative
