ED Tech - Full-time Day Shift

Role Overview

The ED Tech Level I provides multi-skilled patient care under RN supervision in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, age-appropriate care through vital signs, EKG, wound care, suctioning, splinting, and ambulation instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures using aseptic technique
• Operate cardiac and pulse oximetry monitors
• Transport patients, supplies, and medications
• Maintain a stocked patient care area
• Monitor restraint/seclusion patients
• Manage telesitter carts
• Respond to escalations and notify staff as needed
• Perform safety checks and troubleshoot connectivity
• Recognize arrhythmias
• Maintain patient safety
• Document observations
• Ensure environmental safety standards

• CURRENT BLS certification
• Effective communication
