ED Tech - Full Time - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, age-appropriate patient care including vital signs, 12-lead EKG, blood sugar testing, wound care, oral suctioning, splinting, and ambulation instruction.
• Performing aseptic procedures such as catheterization, sterile tray prep, dressing changes, and phlebotomy.
• Operating cardiac monitors, pulse oximetry, and trauma resuscitation equipment.
• Transporting patients, supplies, medications, and ensuring stocked patient care areas.
• Monitoring patients in restraint/seclusion, recognizing arrhythmias, and communicating findings.
• Managing telesitter carts, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and performing environmental safety checks.
• Responding to remote telesitter escalations and providing face-to-face interventions when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• A high school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of manual vital sign measurement.
