Supply Chain & Operations Associate Director role based in Philadelphia, PA (additional locations: Atlanta, Charlotte). Protiviti offers a hybrid workplace model combining in-person and remote work, with requirements varying by client and project.

About the role

Protiviti is seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Associate Director to join the growing Supply Chain & Operations Innovation team. In this role, you will partner with clients to identify and manage finance transformation opportunities, develop strategies for complex business problems, and deliver solutions using the latest tools and methodologies. You will build lasting client relationships, mentor teams, and contribute to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to solve complex business problems in supply chain and operations.
  • Design and deploy digital supply chain solutions and apply emerging technologies.
  • Lead process improvement, business transformation, and project management initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and Change Management.
  • Manage financial modeling and business case development.
  • Evaluate, summarize, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships with senior executives on a global scale.
  • Pursue business development opportunities and contribute to client proposals and strategies.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance development to project teams.
  • Oversee project work plans and ensure successful delivery.
  • Promote a positive team culture and foster open communication.
  • Create development opportunities for team members, including training and community improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with core supply chain processes, including Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Accounts Payable, and Demand Planning.
  • Experience designing and implementing digital supply chain solutions and applying technologies such as Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay, Third Party Risk Management/Monitoring, and Procurement orchestration.
  • Proficiency in process improvement, business transformation, and project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, Change Management).
  • Strong financial modeling and business case management skills.
  • Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
  • Experience establishing and cultivating business relationships, including with senior executives.
  • Track record of successfully pursuing business development opportunities.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring, and team coordination.
  • Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, or Business).
  • 9+ years of experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with secondary emphasis on Visio, Access, and Tableau/Power BI.
  • Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma, or Certified Scrum Professional are strongly preferred.

Pay

Starting salary range: $153,000 – $260,000, based on experience, skills, and geographic work location. The annual bonus target is 16%, bringing the estimated total cash range to $177,480 – $301,600.
