About the role

Protiviti is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Associate Director to join our growing Supply Chain & Operations Innovation team. In this role, you’ll partner with clients to identify and manage finance transformation opportunities, develop strategies to solve complex business problems, and devise solutions using the latest tools and methods. You’ll build lasting relationships with client personnel, foster a network within the business community, and serve as a Protiviti ambassador. Additionally, you’ll mentor teams, provide performance development, and oversee project work plans to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital supply chain solutions and apply emerging technologies.
  • Leverage traditional technologies supporting key supply chain functions, such as Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay, Third Party Risk Management/Monitoring, and Procurement orchestration.
  • Apply process improvement, business transformation, and project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, Change Management).
  • Develop financial models and business cases.
  • Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships, including with senior executives on a global scale.
  • Pursue business development opportunities and implement strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
  • Translate and communicate issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Lead and supervise teams, including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, and motivating team members.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and strategies to win new business.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities.
  • Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
  • Create development opportunities for teams, including training initiatives and community improvement efforts.
  • Promote a positive team culture that fosters open communication among engagement team members.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with core supply chain processes such as Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Accounts Payable, and Demand Planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, or Business).
  • 9+ years of experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with secondary emphasis on Visio, Access, and Tableau/Power BI.
  • Professional Certification such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Professional, or similar is strongly preferred.

Work Arrangement

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, combining in-person work with remote flexibility. The ratio of remote to in-person work varies by client, project, team, and business factors. You may work in local Protiviti offices or on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on project needs and client commitments.

Pay

Starting salary range: $163,000 – $278,000, based on experience, skills, and geographic work location. The annual bonus target opportunity for this role is 16%, bringing the estimated total cash range to $189,080 – $322,480.
