The Sophomore Actuarial Career Discovery Program offers college sophomores the opportunity to connect with an actuarial advisor at Aon to learn about a consulting career and practice real-world scenarios.

Program Details

  • Virtual mentorship opportunity for students considering a career in actuarial science.

  • Direct pipeline to Aon's Summer 2028 Actuarial Intern opportunities.

  • Selected mentees may be fast-tracked to a final round interview.

  • Candidates can choose their preferred location for Summer 2028 internship opportunities.

  • January 2027 - April 2027

  • Application Deadline: November 2026

  • Review Process: November - December 2026

  • Program Acceptance: December 2026 - January 2027

Skills and Experience

  • We're looking for collaborators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, excellent teammates, effective communicators, relationship builders, and future leaders.

Education Requirements

  • Preferred Majors: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.

  • All majors welcome to apply.

  • Applicants must be current sophomores, graduating between December 2028 - June 2029, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
