About the role
We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead the online sales of refurbished computer hardware, replacement parts, and components through leading e-commerce marketplaces. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys managing inventory, creating high-quality product listings, optimizing pricing strategies, and driving online sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage online sales across eBay, Amazon Marketplace, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Photograph laptops, computer hardware, and internal components for professional online listings.
- Create compelling, accurate, and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
- Research market trends and develop competitive pricing strategies.
- List and sell refurbished laptops, computer components, accessories, and replacement parts.
- Evaluate inventory and determine the best sales channel for each product.
- Accurately describe cosmetic and physical product conditions while maximizing sales potential.
- Maintain accurate online listings and monitor inventory levels.
- Analyze marketplace performance and adjust pricing and listings to increase sales and profitability.
- Cook up with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and marketplace listings.
- Track key performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain organized product records and inventory documentation.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of e-commerce or online marketplace management experience.
- Proven success selling products through eBay, Amazon Marketplace, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating product listings, including photography and detailed product descriptions.
- Strong understanding of online merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Experience selling refurbished electronics or computer hardware is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, and laptop replacement components is highly desirable.
- Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Experience in computer hardware, IT asset disposition (ITAD), refurbishment, technology resale, electronics recycling, or a related industry is a plus.
