E-Commerce Manager
Ecommerce Operations & Performance
Lead the development, management, and ongoing optimization of the company’s ecommerce website and digital sales channels.
Manage and monitor ecommerce sales performance, site traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Regularly review the end-to-end customer journey and implement enhancements to improve usability, customer experience, and online sales.
Track site performance across channels and prepare regular reporting for stakeholders.
Product Data & Catalog Management
Oversee a large and complex product catalog (400K+ SKUs), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all ecommerce platforms.
Maintain and improve product taxonomy, attributes, content, and data standards.
Lead product data governance, normalization, and quality control efforts.
Sure all product information, copy, and pricing remain current and accurate.
Partner with third-party suppliers to synchronize product data and content at scale.
Support and manage system-to-system ordering and punch-out catalogs for key customers.
Systems, Integrations & Technical Collaboration
Work closely with IT, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to manage integrations between ERP systems, ecommerce platforms, procurement systems, and related tools.
Pull, analyze, and distribute reports using Business Objects and other reporting tools to support decision-making.
Vendor, Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and consignment agreements in partnership with branch locations and customers.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Accounting, Marketing, and external vendors to support ecommerce initiatives.
Implement and maintain best-practice search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
Add and manage store events, promotions, and web content through the Content Management System (CMS).
Job Requirements & Skills
- 2–5 years of progressively responsible experience in ecommerce operations, B2B ecommerce, or corporate e-procurement environments.
- Experience managing large-scale product data sets; product and application experience required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
- Experience with ERP, ecommerce platforms, punch-out catalogs, and system integrations.
- Photo editing abilities and HTML proficiency.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keywords, web usage trends, and IT fundamentals.
- Highly customer-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Able to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Self-motivated, positive, and professional communicator.
- AI platform experience preferred.
