SUMMARY: Responsible for maintenance of administrative functions for CFC Trucking. Position will develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases and analytical tools for the company. Developing tracking methods to maintain DOT compliance and safety tracking.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain Driver Qualification Files per DOT requirements
  • Monitor Drivers’ License expiration dates and give reminders to drivers
  • Maintain Drivers’ Medical Card expirations and give reminders to drivers
  • Maintain drug testing, randoms and physicals through Concentra
  • Enter payroll data into a spreadsheet for entry and upload to BOLT for Payroll
  • Maintenance and tracking for hours of service
  • Check ordering system for customers requiring appointments
  • Track and monitor fuel tickets
  • Create, maintain (filing), and audit reports as regulated by FMCSA
  • Tracking department petty cash
  • Follow up on collision reporting for completion of all documents
  • Maintain DOT Accident register
  • Support the Safety and Compliance for Transportation operations
  • Assist in Dispatch admin duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7am-3pm

Requirements

  • Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with DOT compliance preferred.
  • Experience dispatching and scheduling deliveries preferred.
  • Familiarity with delivery scheduling systems.
  • Familiarity with creating and entering data in spreadsheets and databases.

Training, Skills, Licenses

  • Proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of ELD on board computers (PeopleNet preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of routing process.
  • The ability to perform functions in a high stress environment.

Working Conditions

This position is located in an office environment with moderate to low noise levels and is typically sedentary. Daily use of a computer and phone system is necessary as well as interaction with staff, customers and vendors. Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed, to include weekends and holidays.
