Division Head, Pediatric Allergy & Immunology
About the role
The Division Head is responsible for leading all clinical care, research endeavors, educational efforts, advocacy and administrative aspects of the Division’s work. As the leader of the division, the Division Head serves a critical role in setting and executing upon the division’s strategic goals in the clinical, research, education and advocacy domains.
Responsibilities
- Leading all clinical care, research endeavors, educational efforts, advocacy and administrative aspects of the Division’s work
- Serving as the representative in interactions with Department leadership, hospital administration, external groups and philanthropic donors
- Oversight of divisional operational, philanthropic and grant funding in partnership with the Division Administrator
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in clinical care, development of research, and/or administration
- Strong clinical expertise, along with a proven track record of research within the field of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
- MD or MD/PhD, board-certification and fellowship training in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
