About the role
The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking an experienced physician with a proven leadership skills and academic accomplishment to lead the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases.
Responsibilities
- Build upon an established academic foundation in a dynamic and growing academic department.
- Provide care for children in the greater New Brunswick area through academic physician faculty members, nurse practitioners, nurses, and a psychologist.
- Operate a State-funded comprehensive clinical and research HIV program.
- Provide both inpatient consultations at the Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick and outpatient care at various ambulatory facilities.
- Teach medical students, residents in pediatrics and other specialties, and various subspecialty fellows, employing both clinical and didactic teaching methods.
- Develop the next generation of multi-talented physicians who will become leaders in patient care, education, and research.
Requirements
- Board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
- Academic achievements consistent with appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
