Division Chief, Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking an outstanding leader to serve as Division Chief of Pulmonary Medicine. The Division Chief will be board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all scholarly, clinical, educational, and administrative activities of the Division.
• Provide overall oversight of Pediatric Pulmonology at Bristol-Myers-Squibb Children’s Hospital.
• Join 3 full time faculty members who provide Pediatric pulmonology coverage.
• Overall supervision of the Division’s faculty members’ activities, including teaching, clinical care, research, and other Division and Department duties.
• Participate in either clinical or lab-based research.
• Commitment to the academic mission of Rutgers and RWJMS which includes education across the spectrum of trainees including medical students, residents and fellows in the institution.

Requirements

• Strong academic and clinical background.
• Proven track record in investigative work, clinical care and education.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology Medicine.

• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong academic and clinical background.
• Experience in research and education.
