About the role

The Division of Allergy & Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking an exemplary leader to serve as Division Head. This position offers the opportunity to provide strategic leadership during a pivotal period of growth and transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the division's strategic vision
  • Oversee all clinical care, research endeavors, educational efforts, advocacy, and administrative operations
  • Act as the representative in interactions with Department leadership, Lurie Children’s Medical Group leadership, hospital administration, external groups, and philanthropic donors
  • Oversight of divisional operational, philanthropic, and grant funding in partnership with the Executive Director and Division Administrator

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical care, research development, education, and/or administration
  • Strong clinical expertise and proven track record of scholarly activity within allergy and immunology
  • Strategic, thoughtful leadership approach with robust experience in academic medical center settings
  • Demonstrated commitment to faculty mentorship and career development
  • MD, or MD/PhD, with board certification and fellowship training in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of post-fellowship clinical experience and medical licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain)

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $258,000 - $370,000.
