About the role

The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Pediatric or Medicine/Pediatric Allergist to join our Center for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology within the Children’s Institute of Cleveland Clinic. The successful applicant should be board certified or board eligible in Allergy/Immunology. This is a clinical academic position with clinical practice time split between a suburban clinic and the main campus Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and treatment of patients with allergic and immunologic diseases
  • Specialization in food allergy including prevention strategies, nutritional assessments, psychology support, and desensitization treatments with the use of both oral immunotherapy and sublingual immunotherapy
  • Management of asthma and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis using biologic therapy and allergen immunotherapy
  • Clinical practice in Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Severe Eczema, Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Immunogenetics
  • Participation in research projects and development of new treatments

Requirements

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Allergy/Immunology
  • Experience in clinical practice with a focus on pediatric patients
  • Strong academic track record, preferably with publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics or Medicine/Pediatrics
  • Successful completion of a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology

Skills

  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating food allergies
  • Knowledge of asthma management and biologic therapy
  • Ability to manage complex cases involving immunodeficiency disorders
  • Strong research skills and interest in developing new treatments

Pay

Minimum salary: $183,250
Maximum salary: $294,750
