About the role

This Dispensary Associate position is part-time and is located at the Health For Life dispensary in Baltimore, MD. iAnthus Capital Management is a multi-state operator, encompassing the full spectrum of cannabis enterprises, from cultivation to processing to retailing. As an iAnthus brand ambassador, you will represent the brand appropriately, build relationships with community leaders, and maintain a positive and compliant workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Policies, Procedures & Daily Operations
  • Engage and educate patients in a positive manner
  • Avoid errors in patient intake forms
  • Qualify patients for VFH program
  • Maintain compliance with local and state regulations
  • Perform general office work, such as filing records, operating copy machines, and using email
  • Provide feedback to managers on patient interactions
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping, such as patient intake forms, cash handling records, chain of custody documents, and waste disposal logs
  • Attend 1-minute meetings at the start of each shift to ensure uniformity in message and goals
  • Deliver excellent, and compassionate patient services
  • Participate in monthly product inventory reviews
  • Train and develop team members
  • Review and update patient educational materials
  • Participate in quarterly team meetings
  • Drive business/sales
  • Review sales daily and best practices to achieve goals
  • Participate in 1-minute meetings, at the start of every shift, to ensure consistency in message and goals
  • Deliver excellent, and compassionate patient services

Qualifications and Education

  • At least 21 years old, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or patient services, preferred
  • Flexible schedule (nights and/or weekends)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math skills
  • Computer literate – POS experience is desirable
  • High school graduate
  • Experienced in a fast-paced, high transaction environment
  • Good organizational and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive
