Responsibilities
- Proficiently monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call handling time.
- Leverage the communication and information management system to deliver excellent customer support to providers, facilities and member representatives.
- Schedule, assign, review and route transportation requests using appropriate methods.
- Clearly document communications following protocols and processes, and properly identify and escalate issues as necessary.
- Efficiently communicate trip data including confirmations, routing time, issues and performance.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow coworkers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency dispatch, medical or telecommunications experience, OR a minimum of 2 years of high-demand customer service experience.
- Skilled in reading and writing English.
- Able to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
- Able to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
- Possess good typing skills with speed and accuracy necessary to efficiently process emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Able to understand basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
