Responsibilities

  • Proficiently monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call handling time.
  • Leverage the communication and information management system to deliver excellent customer support to providers, facilities and member representatives.
  • Schedule, assign, review and route transportation requests using appropriate methods.
  • Clearly document communications following protocols and processes, and properly identify and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Efficiently communicate trip data including confirmations, routing time, issues and performance.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow coworkers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of emergency dispatch, medical or telecommunications experience, OR a minimum of 2 years of high-demand customer service experience.
  • Skilled in reading and writing English.
  • Able to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
  • Able to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
  • Possess good typing skills with speed and accuracy necessary to efficiently process emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Able to understand basic computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
