About the team
The DaaS Customer Management team owns the key platforms that power many of Capital One’s customer relationships, from marketing and new‑customer acquisition to managing credit limits for existing customers. The team’s mission is to deliver the technology ecosystem needed to meet customers with the right offers and experiences at every moment, and it is entering a major investment cycle to support enterprise‑wide innovation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision for customer‑management platforms.
- Drive innovation and long‑term business strategy across multiple platform projects.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to solve customer problems and align the organization.
- Translate business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.
- Leverage technology to deliver resilient, value‑creating solutions.
- Identify and resolve complex problems while mitigating product risks.
- Partner with stakeholders to unlock new customer experiences and business leverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 5 years of product management experience.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products (preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Human‑Centered, Business‑Focused, Technology‑Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
Compensation
- Chicago, IL: $209,500 – $239,100 (Director, Product Management)
- McLean, VA: $230,400 – $263,000 (Director, Product Management)
- New York, NY: $251,400 – $286,900 (Director, Product Management)
- Richmond, VA: $209,500 – $239,100 (Director, Product Management)
- Other locations: salary range based on local market.
- Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
