About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems, and providing technical support to faculty and students.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the university’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Provide technical support to faculty and students, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT management or support.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and networking protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
