The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for leading pricing, forecasting, inventory management, and long-term revenue planning to maximize profitability, optimize occupancy, and maintain market competitiveness while preserving brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead pricing and inventory strategies across all hotel properties based on brand positioning and demand dynamics
Deliver accurate forecasts for revenue, occupancy, ADR, and budget variances with actionable insights
Conduct competitive and market trend analyses to maintain strong market positioning
Facilitate revenue strategy meetings with property and enterprise leadership
Partner with Sales, Hotel Operations, Casino Marketing, Player Development, Gaming, and Golf teams to evaluate and price group and long-term business up to six years out
Perform displacement and profitability analyses for group, convention, and enterprise business
Align group and transient strategies to maximize total enterprise value
Analyze pickup, pace, and booking patterns across transient, group, and package segments
Develop monthly and quarterly performance reports with strategic recommendations
Oversee displacement analyses across conventions, casino events, tour and travel, and golf groups
Collaborate with Sales leadership on pace management, convention calendar optimization, and long-term contracting strategies
Direct channel mix strategies across direct, OTA, casino, and group business
Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to optimize website conversion, promotions, and loyalty channels
Maintain strategic relationships with third-party partners and revenue technology providers such as Duetto
Collaborate with Engagement & Loyalty, Finance, Marketing, and Hotel Operations teams to align enterprise goals
Advises senior leadership on pricing strategy, promotions, and long-term revenue initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop Revenue Optimization Analysts
Foster a data-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
Provide training on revenue systems, forecasting methodologies, and reporting tools
Develop standardized revenue management processes, tools, and policies
Evaluate and implement new revenue technologies and analytics platforms
Support enterprise-wide initiatives including budgeting, promotions, comps strategy, and ancillary revenue optimization
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
Experience: 7+ years of progressive hotel revenue management or analytics experience. Direct responsibility for multi-property or resort portfolio performance. Proven experience securing and managing long-term group business
Skills: Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certifications: None required
Knowledge: Deep understanding of hotel, resort, and casino operations. Expertise with revenue optimization platforms (Duetto or equivalent). Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with property management systems such as LMS, Opera, or similar
