Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities that align with KROI-FM’s strategic goals.
- Help develop and deliver compelling partnership pitches, proposals and presentation tailored to client objectives.
- Participating in client meetings with confidence, professionalism and strategic insight.
- Support new business initiatives by researching prospective partners, developing ideas and identifying revenue opportunities.
- Create custom solutions-driven campaigns that meet client needs across multiple media platforms including broadcast, digital and streaming.
- Develop and grow direct relationships with CMO’s and senior brand leaders to create high impact, scalable media partnerships that extend beyond traditional ad buys.
- Lead outreach efforts, presentations, and negotiations to convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Collaborate with programming, marketing, and sales teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on business development.
- Represent SBS in community and industry-related events to elevate brand visibility.
- Provide input into pricing strategies, market forecasts, and competitive analysis.
- Support General Manager and executive leadership with key growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying innovative ways to improve processes, go to market, and think big from ideation through execution.
- Manages a wide range of tasks effectively, demonstrating a broad skill set and the versatility to adapt across roles and situations.
- Completes additional projects and assignments as needed, effectively managing all assigned lines of business.
- Role Responsibilities & Expectations: Strong written verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in media, broadcast, or related sales leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, revenue generation models, and market analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Prioritizes meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven track record of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Nielsen ratings methodology and data interpretation preferred.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and verification of work authorization.
