Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities
- Prospect, nurture, and win new contractual dedicated business.
- Evaluate customer needs and solve with Paper Transport’s unique value.
- Establish new relationships and generate revenue beyond dedicated.
- Be a self-starter and results-driven.
- Engage prospects and discover the pain points we can solve for to be a valuable partner.
- Continually make proactive decisions and adapt to changing conditions.
- Focus on economic solutions for the customer and profitability for Paper Transport, allowing for an incentive plan with no limit to earn!
- Lead the pursuit of dedicated new business and expansion/renewal business as applicable.
- Coordinate the complete sales cycle process including lead generation, prospect qualification, and leading the cross-functional pursuit team by providing clear direction on deal strategy: pricing, service, value proposition, and presentation message and medium.
- Create a proposal plan of attack for potential dedicated deals.
- Develop industry networks to build the pipeline.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Ace or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Five or more years of transportation experience required
- Preference for three or more years of sales experience in high service and high value industries
