The Role

Responsibilities

  • Possess strong sales skills to prospect, nurture, and convert new potential customers.
  • Maximize revenue and profit margins through effective sales strategies.
  • Build relationships with architects, construction professionals, and other key stakeholders in the commercial market.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce or a similar CRM system to manage client interactions and sales processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, specifically in commercial contract furniture new business development.
  • Experience selling commercial contract furniture directly for a dealership such as Haworth, MillerKnoll, Steelcase, Teknion, Kimball, HON, Global Furniture Group, Hightower, Humanscale, KI, SitOnIt, Allsteel, etc.
  • Experience in the architectural, construction, engineering, design, or interior market is a plus.
  • Office interiors, Commercial Real Estate, and/or Construction contacts are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Skilled and proven in prospecting, negotiating, influencing, and closing new clients.
  • Knowledgeable with Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
