Responsibilities
Provides divisional leadership oversight of service lines, initiatives, and staff. Directs multiple service lines, including disease-specific specialty programs, symposiums, academic and center of excellence programs, and continuing medical education events. Manages multiple allocated budgets by department and per event. Collaborates with administration to select, onboard, and assess current and new physicians. Identifies service line opportunities and threats; increases knowledge on new techniques and healthcare trends by attending meetings, conferences, and training events. Provides consultative services to AHS Division hospitals as requested. Oversees multiple complex programs and projects, creating forums for project status reports and eliminating or escalating barriers. Manages relationships between marketing and public relations, overseeing the development of marketing, public relations, and branding materials for physicians, programs, and websites. Prepares, executes, and monitors departmental operating budgets to ensure appropriate staffing, professional development, space, supplies, and equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Project, Planner, Teams, etc.
- Ability to coach and develop leaders team members
- Ability to hold team members accountable for excellence
- Self-sufficient in project development management and delivery
- Comfortable working in surgical and procedural environment
- High-level interaction with physicians and administration
- Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical abilities with proficient use of analysis tools and data sets
- Understanding of marketing tactics and network development
- Understanding of department financial performance
- Understanding of developing business proposals to present to senior leadership
- Initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and create actionable improvement plans
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and integrate organization priorities and deadlines, and meet goals
- Ability to develop and initiate strategies for development of key programs
- Ability to use influence to drive change strategies in a matrix management environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Field Of Study in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Health Science
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare, hospital, or physician private practice field
- 5+ years of multi-specialty exposure experience
- 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Event planning skills
- Professional decision-making and proposing recommendations on short- and long-term strategy development concerning matters of major importance to our leaders
- Ability to develop actionable business strategy using a variety of inputs and assumptions
- Ability to navigate and develop contractual relationships with outside business entities, physicians, and other business partners
- Strong understanding of service line level marketing strategies, with the ability to influence consumer behavior through marketing strategies developed with marketing professionals
- Business Development experience
- Formal Process Improvement Training
- Project management experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification

Pay
The pay range for this position is $96,266.14 - $179,045.63
