Director, Cloud Operations

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hybrid infrastructure segments, including AWS and colocation environments
• Ensure operational resilience of foundational services like storage and networking
• Drive cloud adoption through infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Oversee AWS governance and infrastructure policy enforcement
• Collaborate with FinOps to enhance cost visibility and optimization
• Implement security compliance and operational standards
• Manage a global team while fostering a culture of operational excellence

Qualifications

• 12+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing infrastructure teams
• Deep experience with AWS services, VMWare, and hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and distributed systems
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation implementations
• Proven experience in infrastructure platforms for large-scale SaaS environments
• Strong aptitude for utilizing AI tools to enhance team performance

Pay

$190,000 – $220,000 annually
