About the Role
Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment for residents in a senior living community. Responsibilities include accurate order taking, relaying orders to kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with special functions. Knowledge of dietary needs and resident preferences is essential, along with serving hot and cold foods appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Be present during full meal service and assist with special functions
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas
- Maintain sanitation standards and reset tables
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Learn resident names and dietary preferences
- Attend all trainings and meetings
- Participate in team activities
Requirements
- Demonstrate core values such as love, kindness, honesty, and respect
- Prior experience in healthcare or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including ADA, infection control, and OSHA standards
